Give me a 5!

17:15 Opening by Mika Tuomola, Artistic director, Crucible Studio

17:25 The Faith is a 3rd person action adventure game, taking place in an alternated version of today. In this world, gods need people to believe in them to be powerful. The Church and Hell have a monopoly on the world's faith. Powerless gods of forgotten pantheons mingle with humans. The player takes the role of Loki, a 'has been' God who is now a not too good professional gambler in Atlantic City. The objective of the game is to take Loki from being a 'has been' with no followers to gain a place in the modern world's belief system. Design team: Anne Parkkali, Fernando Herrera, Sophie Maurer, Teemu Kivikangas.

17:35 POV! by Aki Järvinen, Game researcher & designer, Veikkaus.

17:45 The Troll Island is an activating, physical mobile game for kids, involving outdoors activity in the historical surrounding of beautiful Suomenlinna Fortress Island. It utilizes novel mobile innovations like GPS location information, 3D audio soundscape and augmented reality game graphics, creating an immersive narrative gameplay about magical, invisible fairytale world. A world full of fairies, trolls and elves... Design team: Ciaran Harris, Outi Kotala, Ville Tikka, Sami Pekkola.
